Na obra “Solitude”, F. SAGGIORO revela um amadurecimento expressivo em sua linguagem visual, consolidando elementos que já aparecem em produções anteriores, como a atenção ao silêncio da paisagem, a relação simbiótica entre arquitetura e natureza, e o uso sensível da cor como meio de sugestão poética. Executada em aquarela, técnica que o artista domina com precisão e lirismo, a cena apresenta um edifício sacro — de linhas simples, mas evocativas — parcialmente oculto por uma massa densa de vegetação. Ramos e galhos se entrelaçam em primeiro plano, criando um véu orgânico que ao mesmo tempo protege e esconde a construção. A composição, construída em diagonais e camadas horizontais, convida o olhar a entrar lentamente na cena, como quem caminha em silêncio por uma clareira esquecida pelo tempo. O título Solitude não remete à solidão como abandono, mas como escolha interior. Trata-se de um recolhimento voluntário, um movimento de introspecção que o artista parece conhecer profundamente — e traduzir com rara sutileza. A arquitetura, sem presença humana visível, passa a funcionar como metáfora da mente ou da alma: uma estrutura que acolhe o invisível, um abrigo da experiência interior. Não há claros-escuros dramáticos, mas sim transições delicadas entre luz e sombra, como se a imagem fosse filtrada pela memória ou por um sonho. Essa obra dialoga com tradições artísticas diversas: o romantismo de Caspar David Friedrich, especialmente na ideia do humano como espectador da vastidão silenciosa; o simbolismo de artistas como Odilon Redon, no uso do vegetal como expressão do inconsciente; e até certos ecos da estética japonesa do ma (espaço do intervalo, do vazio expressivo). F. SAGGIORO demonstra aqui não apenas domínio técnico, mas uma voz artística coerente, capaz de tecer imagens com carga afetiva e filosófica. Sua produção atual revela uma trajetória que não se prende a fórmulas ou estilos comerciais, mas busca a construção de um espaço íntimo, ao mesmo tempo visual e reflexivo. Em tempos de estímulo excessivo e produção acelerada, obras como Solitude nos lembram da importância de parar, contemplar, e encontrar beleza no recolhimento. A solidão que aqui se apresenta não é ausência, mas um estado pleno de presença interior. Critical Review in English: “Solitude”, In the artwork “Solitude”, F. SAGGIORO reveals a mature and expressive visual language, building on elements already present in previous works — such as the quietude of the landscape, the symbiotic relationship between architecture and nature, and the sensitive use of color as a poetic tool. Executed in watercolor — a technique the artist masters with delicacy and precision — the scene depicts a sacred building, perhaps a church or monastery, partially concealed by a dense veil of vegetation. Branches and twigs intertwine in the foreground, forming an organic screen that simultaneously hides and protects the structure. The composition, layered with diagonals and soft horizontal bands, gently invites the viewer into the image, like someone walking silently into a forest clearing lost in time. The title Solitude does not suggest abandonment, but rather intentional withdrawal. It evokes a state of introspection — a conscious return to the inner self. The building, absent of any human figure, becomes metaphorical: it stands as a vessel of the mind, or perhaps the soul — a structure that shelters the invisible and the intimate. This sensibility can already be seen in earlier works by SAGGIORO, such as the watercolor “Psiquê Comtemporânea,” where gesture and form suggest restraint and attentive presence. However, in Solitude, the artist expands his symbolic palette. Color takes on an atmospheric role: layers of green and blue envelop the image in a spiritual haze. There is no dramatic chiaroscuro, but instead a subtle modulation of light and shadow, as if the image itself were filtered through memory or dream. The work resonates with several artistic traditions: the Romanticism of Caspar David Friedrich — particularly in the idea of the human as a contemplative witness to the vast and silent; the Symbolism of Odilon Redon — where vegetal forms reflect the unconscious; and even echoes of Japanese aesthetics, particularly the concept of ma (the expressive power of emptiness and pause). F. SAGGIORO demonstrates not only technical refinement but also a coherent and poetic voice. His current body of work resists formulaic or commercial aesthetics, embracing instead a space of stillness — both visual and philosophical. In a time of overstimulation and acceleration, works like Solitude offer a counterpoint: they invite us to slow down, observe, and find beauty in quiet introspection. The solitude presented here is not absence — it is presence in its most essential form.
